Penmon Dreams – Friendly Friday – Dreamy

This week ‘The Snow Melts Somewhere’ challenges us with:

Since my blog’s tagline is Stories and dreamy images, I’ve given myself permission to dream a bit when I blog. Let’s forget about all the worries in the world and daydream… Let your mind wander. Where does it go? What do you dream of?

Today’s theme for the Friendly Friday Photo Challenge is Dreamy.

So here are a couple of photos taken this year at Penmon point which I feel have a dreamy quality, the first is a 5 photo stitch landscape, which by now some of you will know I am quite fond of producing.

And the second a dreamy picture of the light house.

And just because I noticed it in my media folder as I was looking to upload the two above, a bonus shot I have used before taken while walking alongside the river Nith.

‘Heron Dreams’, Glencaple, Dumfries and Galoway, 2018.nith4

And just because the above seem to be all about watery dreams –

“My soul is full of longing
for the secret of the sea,
and the heart of the great ocean
sends a thrilling pulse through me.”
― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

    1. Thank you. Indeed, this was the first time I had been back in about 10 years, and probably only the second time in 20. I used to live fairly nearby at one point and went regularly, perhaps it is time for a holiday.
