Well this week Frank challenges us with the topic ‘Sunrise’:
This week’s theme is another instance of surprised that I haven’t used this theme before! While Morning has been a theme, Sunrise has not been used yet. As I always look for the themes to be accessible to everyone, I figured that the Sun is available to most of us, Earthlings. Of course, it does happen early in the day, so night owls might be disadvantaged, but I’m sure their creative minds can come up with a workaround for rising early!
Well this first shot is taken off the sunrise over Carbis bay, St. Ives, from the bedroom window of Coast B&B were we stay when we visit. I woke up, could not get back to sleep, too much rich food before retiring, so got up and looked out the window, where I was greeted with this magnificent sunrise.

I mentioned in my Sunday stills post this week that each year we aim to go out and greet the returning sun at winter solstice. So here is another image taken up on the common as we do just that.
