Monk and sheep – Kammie’s Oddball Challenge: April 4, 2019

Each week Kammie challenges us to post an oddball photo:

Odd Ball Photos are those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category.  We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.

This week photos from Shap Abbey in Cumbria.  The first photo is of a sign on a gatepost I assume signifying that this is the way to the abbey, I find it quirky and odd, so probably not that odd that I took a photo.

And the second photo is just to give you a bit of context as to the location.

  1. I’m glad you explained the purpose of the sign lol-I probably wouldn’t have ever figured out it was directionally related. It’s definitely quirky and odd. Your second picture of the destination is stunning.

    1. Thanks – I have two photos of this sign in my archives, from visits that are years apart. Its one of those oddities that draws the eye. If I go back I will probably snap it again!
