This Friday, ‘The Snow Melts Somewhere’ and ‘Something to Ponder About’ have challenged us with:
the theme for Friendly Friday this week is Twins.
There are actually more than 2 stones in this circle, but I thought this photo of two of them fit the bill. They are made of the same things, but shaped by hands and weather so that they look different, yet still I believe they share a common purpose, they are the same inside, sisters forever standing against the rigours of the world. Only four stones remain of what once was a 45-foot circle of stones. The stones are the tallest in Derbyshire, they are sometimes known as the grey ladies.
