A hello Johnbo who is at the helm this week. This weeks challenge from the Lens-Artists asks:
Considering the current world situation, I decided to focus my challenge to your sharing images from your previous travels rather than asking you to go out to photograph new examples to share. If you visited a favourite place more than once, how did you approach the second trip photographically? If you’ve only been somewhere once, what would you do differently the second time around?
So I thought I would share a photo of somewhere we have only been once, Dumfries and Galloway. We had aimed to go back again this year, this time in our camper-van, but alas that does not look like it will happen. So here is a shot from our visit in 2018, a journey to the archives itself a ‘second visit’, and a chance to edit a photo I had overlooked, originally as it is a bit out of focus!
‘Heron’, Dumfries and Galoway, 2018.

Thank you for introducing me to this region of Scotland. I’ve already been to Wikipedia to learn more about the area. With three National Scenic Areas, I imagine there are many places where one could find and capture birds and other wild life.

It’s beautiful Ken – hope you get to go back sooner rather than later. Doesn’t look a bit out of focus, looks dreamy 🙂

Thanks, me as well, and I will take dreamy over out of focus 🙂
