Challenge: Lens-Artists Photo Challenge
Topic: #100 – The Long and Winding Road
This week, share your images and thoughts about the long and winding road. Feel free to be literal or metaphorical in your approach.
So perhaps I have taken a little liberty with this one, the neck is ‘long’, and tuners do the ‘winding’, but as for the road, perhaps it is just that Tallulah is one of my roads to happiness, we can rest our bodies against each other and for a while forget the outside world. Or together we can weave words and tunes, that reference the wrongs that exist, in that external world, and we can hope that our creativity in its own way, can raise a little awareness.
Such a long road exists on our route to acceptance of the ‘other’, but it is what lies around the corner that gives beauty to our rich and varied tapestry. As individuals we are only one small part of the thread of life, and only when we are woven together with those other threads can we truly create a cloth that is worthy of beholding.

I’m going to forgive you for the “stretch” on this one Ken, because of your beautiful words. They tie your image directly to our challenge. Much appreciated!

Thanks Tina, I was actually all set to use a photo of a nice windy road, but glanced over to the corner of the room where Tallulah lives, down at the desk in front of me at some scribbled lyrics and though, you know what…
