Challenge: Lens-Artists Photo Challenge
Topic: #107: Winter
This week we are asked:
Winter is not the same in any corner of the world…and maybe most significant is the difference when you compare the Northern Hemisphere with the Southern Hemisphere. – So, your winter is not mine, my winter is not yours.
Let’s enjoy the differences! Being different and different experiences give us more strength and brings variety to our lives. This week – Winter rules.
I have posted quite a few photos of this view recently as it is the panorama we see on our morning walk, however here is a photo of it looking distinctly wintry.
I love looking out over the snowy almost monochrome landscape, it is like nature attempting to remind us that colour is not everything, and how much shape and form matter.

Shape and form – nicely said and shown Ken, hadn’t thought of it that way.

So true, Ken! I have a setting in my camera I can use to get monochrome through the view finder. It really helps to see with new eyes. Lovely shots of your view – and did you really have that much snow! I am envious…

The lane behind our house up to the ridgeway is in quite a dip, so even if there is only 1 or 2 inches on the ground, up there you get drifts of 6 foot or so, as it blows off the surrounding fields and into the lane. It makes for an exciting winter walk.
