So this week GC asked – “Do you remember the good old days before computers when board games ruled the roost?” and “Are you a secret gamer”, well I think the next picture says it all:

So it is fair to say that games never really went out of fashion for me.

You might be mistaken for thinking that that shelf is in a shop, but no it is one of the shelves in my study.

Definitely not a secret gamer, and I never want to have to lock them away in a closet!

Never bored, but I always have a board to hand!

One of the worst aspects of Pandemic and Lockdown was not being able to get together with likeminded friends to sit down, and take part in some brain taxing logistical fun. Of course we met online for gaming fun, but it is not the same really

Slowly but surely the games pieces are being taken out of their little zip lock bags again.

The meeples are once again on the rise!
