Lavender way – Which Way Challenge: November 29th, 2019

Each Friday San challenges us with the following:

The Which Way photo challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on. You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible. Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs. There’s no topic to this challenge. All you need have is the “way” visible and the main focus of your photo.

Temporal stillness – Weekly Prompts: Clock the Time

This weekend GC and SueW have chosen the following as the theme for their challenge.

This weekend the photo challenge here on Weekly Prompts from GC and me is Clock the Time.

Well not actually time at a standstill – or is it given this is a moment forever frozen in memory! but actually just a cloudy day.

Fine art! – Friday Fun: Wall art

For this weeks Friday Fun we have been asked to share wall art

Well I am not sure it is ‘Fine art’, but it is on a wall!

At Beningbrough Hall you can answer a number of questions about your personality, and then have a photo of your self turned into a period masterpiece on the wall in the gallery for a few minutes.  This is me, well sort of!

I can almost smell it – #SundayStills: #Close-up

This week Teri  challenged us with:

Calling all photographers and creatives who really like a challenge this week! Last July 2018, I challenged Sunday Stillers to a macro-photography challenge. I thought it was time to offer another macro or close-up photography challenge this week.

Not quite as close as I sometimes get, but I just liked this the way it was.

Poppy eye – Lens Artists Photo Challenge #57 – Taking a break

This weeks challenge from the Lens-Artists is:

How many ways can you think of for getting away from the daily grind and finding peace? Show us your views on “taking a break”

We recently took a break visiting both Anglesey and part of Yorkshire, fitting in both parents on our travels, and general having quite an active break.  However there was time to sit, relax, eat ice cream, and take a few photos :).
