Daily pleasure – Lens Artists Photo Challenge #48 – Wild

This week we are challenged us with:

There are many ways one might choose to interpret this week’s “wild” challenge – of course wild animals, but also wildflowers, the wild blue yonder, wild about “fill in the blank”, the wild, wild west….I could go on and on. Instead I’ll turn it over to you to show us YOUR perspective on what wild means to you.

Recently this woodpecker has been visiting us, well the nut feeder actually, almost on a daily basis, and we enjoy this fact very much.  It is about as wild a time as it gets for us on a damp South Wales day :), actually we a blessed with a garden that is bigger than average and thus we get to see our fair share of wildlife.

Nuts – One word Sunday Challenge: Aerial

This week Debbie has challenged us with the following:

Welcome to One Word Sunday, and over to all of you to join the challenge with your own aerial post.

Not quite in focus, and therefore why it has languished unedited for so long, however I felt it could be pressed into service for this challenge.

Past the first Jackdaw on the right – Which Way Challenge: May 16, 2019

Each week sonofabeach96 challenges us with the following:

This Which Way challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on.  You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible.  Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.

No prizes for guessing where we were going.

Small but perfectly formed – Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Feathers

For this weeks Fun Foto Challenge Cee gives us the topic of ‘Feathers’.

I love small birds, when you see their feathers up close they are so amazingly intricate, how could something so small have so much detail.  Unfortunately I have not got a macro shot of a little birds feather, and I am not about to instruct the cats to go out and find one for me!  So here instead is a photo of a little feathered friend.

Spread your wings – Sunday Stills – High #Flight

This week Teri has challenged us with:

Flight has a variety of meanings, whether it is the obvious where something has wings and flies, or a flight of stairs, or fleeing from danger (flight or fight), or how about a flight of beer samples?

So here is a photo taken at a medieval fair in Caerphilly where there was a bird of prey show.
