501603 – Lens Artists Photo Challenge #66 – Filling the Frame

This weeks challenge from the Lens-Artists is:

This week, we invite you to explore filling the frame for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #66.  You can include images of buildings, people, objects, and/or elements from nature.  Feel free to include shots of the same subject before you filled the frame and after you filled the frame.

Well I did not even have to try to think about how I would compose this shot, as the bull decided he would fill the frame for me!  It looks a lot more scary than when I took it a minimal crop at 18mm so I was quite close!

Moo you looking at – Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge – Horns

This week Cee challenges us with:

This week the topic is Horns. Your horn can be any of the following:

brass instrument
car horns
animal horns (antler)
Other

As soon as I saw the post I knew which photo I wanted to rework for this, it is from way back in the archives when I was using the Fuji HS20.  Not sure why this has stuck in my memory for so long, but it did.

Looking at old shots – Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge – Black and White

For this weeks Fun Foto Challenge Cee asks:

This week the topic is Black and White and there is no specific topic.  Let’s keep this challenge strictly black and white.

I have been looking back over a lot of old photos recently, taken on Cameras other than the A6000 I usually use, and here are a few I liked.

‘Hill Walk’, Brynna, Wales, 2010. This photo could have been set up by either Karen or myself, although it was taken with her camera. [Canon A1100] bw2
