This week Nancy has challenged us with the topic of ‘Line or Row’, saying:
IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO OR TWO (OR MORE) OF SUBJECTS IN A LINE OR ROW.
Well this photo, left languishing because it had focus issues, had to be the one I used. Once I had read Nancys title of ‘Getting Your Ducks in a Row’, I knew I must have a photo like this somewhere. So a photo of the top ten winners of the great Dingle Bal Duck race 2017, I think the winning ducks run right to left in order of crossing the finish line, but I could be wrong!
‘Winners line up’, Dingle Bal, 2017.
Each week Kammie challenges us to post an oddball photo:
Odd Ball Photos are those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category. We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.
Getting ready for a duck race at one of the dance events we go to, you might find that odd but it has become a traditional part of the event, I took this photo.
‘Quack’, Dingle bal, 2017.
This weeks challenge asks us to:
show us a smile (yours or someone else’s), make us smile, or both. Share a photo of something that has brought a moment of joy into your life recently, or focus on the outcome of that joy.
So here is a photo from last years Dingle duck race of two of the winners sharing a moment of joy.
Cee asked us for this weeks B&W challenge:
This week the topic is Water. Any kind of water counts for this week’s theme from steam to stream, rain or sleet and, yes for you northern folks, snow and ice.
So here is a picture taken of the great Duck race at the Dingle Bal 2017, the excitement was building at this point as we were nearing the finishing post. Who would have thought I would take over 100 photos of rubber ducks on a stream this summer!
