Over and through – Which Way Challenge: July 11 & 18, 2019

Each week sonofabeach96 challenges us with the following:

This Which Way challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on.  You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible.  Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.

I was on holiday last week so here are two ways from that trip, separated by a few hundred yards, one for this week and one for last week.

Actually this was taken after we had been this way, are we wanted back or being kept out?

Woodland gate – Sunday Stills – #Gates to Fun

This week Teri has challenged us with ‘Gates’.

So I chose this gate in the woodland at Colby Woodland Gardens, I liked the way the sunlight was filtering through the trees and catching the post.  Gateways are often the liminal spaces of transition between one experience and another, but in this case we pass from woodland – to woodland, did we feel a change of place?
