Hole, stone, hand – A Photo a Week Challenge: Hands.

This week  Nancy has challenged us with the following:

IN A NEW POST CREATED FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO (OR TWO OR THREE) THAT FEATURES HANDS.

A few years ago my wife and myself took a number of photos of our hands and arms, protruding through the holes of the hold stones at Tregeseal.  We printed them fairly large in monochrome, and friends got them for Christmas.  This is one of the series that did not quite make it to the prints.

Circle stone – Friday Foto Fun – Texture

This week Aroused blog’s, Friday Foto Fun Challenge has the topic of Texture.

So here is a picture of one of the Tregeseal holed stones on Kendijack common, displaying some texture.

I take quite a few photos of texture the intent being use photos like this to provide texture in photoshop, for example to Fonts to get a letterpress effect among other things.  A portion of the above was used to create the below.Texture
