This weekend GC and SueW have chosen the following as the theme for their challenge.
This weekend the Weekly Prompts Photo Challenge from GC and me is Visitors.
Visitor – Someone or Something visiting Someplace Somewhere!
Wow this one is really quite wide open, I would say that at least 90% of my photos are taken when I am actively visiting somewhere for the purpose of ‘visiting’, as opposed to going about my day to day life.
So first a shot from the other 10%, a shot I thought I would never process, but which seemed appropriate here, 2 young visitors to the fields behind our house, on a mission to feed the horse.
‘Feeding the horse’, 2019.
And another visitor to the same fields, possibly seeking refuge, given the time of year this shot was taken.
‘Seeking safety’, 2019.
And finally another shot from last weeks birthday walk up to the Brecon Beacons.
‘Cold but fun’, Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre, 2019.
Each week at XingfuMama we are asked to ‘Pull up a seat‘.
This week one from my archives, does it count as a seat I wonder?
‘Seat of Dreams’, Laycock Abbey, 2013.
Each week sonofabeach96 challenges us with the following:
This Which Way challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on. You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible. Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.
Actually this was taken after we had been this way, are we wanted back or being kept out?
‘Not though my way’, West Penwith, 2014.
This week Teri has challenged us with:
The Sunday Stills theme this week is Wildlife.
Here is a photo taken in West Penwith, Cornwall, on one of our many visits. Titled, because if a wild rock band could be made of horses, this would be their photo, that horse has attitude!
‘The next big thing’, West Penwith, Cornwall, 2014.
