This Friday we are challenged with:
For this week’s Friendly Friday photo challenge, let’s hero something that has been ignored, overlooked, discarded.
This farm has steadily been falling into disrepair over the years that I have been visiting the Men-an-tol in Cornwall, to me it is a gem of a building, and it is sad to see it abandoned.

This Friday Something to Ponder About and The Snow Melts Somewhere have challenged us with:
Create a post sharing your interpretation of the weekly prompt – Mistakes.
Ok so where to go with this one? I have any number of badly out of focus, blurry photos to choose from, and also a number of shots of the lens cap or the floor, many mistakes in post, random filter choices and over sharpening, would any of these make interesting viewing for you all? Hmm maybe not.
So here is a picture of Kenmure Castle taken during last years visit to Dumfries and Galloway.

So where is the mistake? There are too many buildings like this around the country, left un-lived in, and unloved, and once the roof has gone it takes very little time before they turn to ruin. This once magnificent building is slowly turning to ruin, this once proud building occupied up until the middle of the 1900’s is falling away, and to let it do so, like so many others may be a ‘mistake’.
