More than you can shake a stick at – Photo for the Week – 32 – Circles

This weeks for the Photo for the Week, Bren asks:

The challenge for this week is Circles

Well I had to use a stone circle, you would expect it of me I am sure.  So another favorite circle, the Merry Maidens in Cornwall.

And because we were asked for circles and not circle, here is another:

And then just to prove I can get more than one circle in a photo at one time.

I used to be useful – Weekly Prompts – Photo Challenge Junk

This weekend GC and SueW have chosen ‘Junk’ as the theme for their challenge.

‘I used to be useful’, not quite my cry, but certainly the items in this photo used to be.  Taken at Stott Park Bobbin Mill, is junk ever junk? I am sure several of you would give these items a home. And perhaps they are useful still.

Fire – Photo for the Week – 25- Chimneys and Fireplaces

For this weeks challenge Bren at RyanPhotography asks:

This week’s challenge is Chimneys and Fireplaces.  Originally it was only going to be chimneys but as chimneys don’t exist without a fireplaces.  I thought the two subjects go hand in hand.

So here are a few reworked shots from the archives.
