Past the first Jackdaw on the right – Which Way Challenge: May 16, 2019

Each week sonofabeach96 challenges us with the following:

This Which Way challenge is all about capturing the roads, walks, trails, rails, steps, signs, etc. we move from one place to another on.  You can walk on them, climb them, drive them, ride on them, as long as the specific way is visible.  Any angle of a bridge is acceptable as are any signs.

No prizes for guessing where we were going.

So many – Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Stairs or Steps

For this weeks Fun Foto Challenge Cee gives us the topic of ‘Stairs or Steps’.  I knew exactly which set of steps I wanted to find a photo of, they are the stairs that lead up to Tintagel castle.

And another shot with the same steps creeping into the left hand of the shot.

Rock face – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Rock.

Well this week Frank challenges us with the topic ‘Wonder’:

In case you wondered, last week’s contributions were absolutely wonderful! To put it simply: all of you Rock!! Which leads me to this week’s theme: Rock

So having a look back through some old photos I found this one.  It is a carving down on the beach in Tintagel.

And also from the same day, a favourite rock to photograph at Sandymouth bay, it would actually be quite hard not to get it in a shot.

Shiny waters – Weekly Photo Challenge: Ooh, Shiny!

This weeks Challenge asks us:

“What about you: what is guaranteed to distract you? What is your “Ooh, shiny!”?”

So I would have to say, Landscapes or Ancient sites are probably my “Ooh, shiny!” that guarantees a moment of, “hold on, I just need to take another photo.”

So here is a shot taken earlier in the year at Tintagel, Cornwall.
