Bees bottom – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Fuzzy

This week Frank challenges us with the topic:

How about going for something a bit Fuzzy for this week’s theme?

To be honest I chose this photo because a bee wa the first thing to pop into my head when I thought of the word ‘Fuzzy’.

Post – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Focus

This week Frank challenges us with the topic:

The challenge for you is to take focus into your preferred direction. There are many ways that you can take this: in focus, out of focus, a look of focus on someone’s face, you name it! Let your creative minds wander happily and keep your focus on the theme!

Falling – One word Sunday Challenge: Triangle & Tuesday Photo Challenge – Fall

This week Debbie has challenged us with the following:

Welcome to One Word Sunday, and over to all of you to join the challenge with your own triangle post.

Heed the warning!

However I thought I would also use the above for this weeks challenge from Frank:

After a week of living the City life, I think it’s time to go back to Nature for this week’s theme. As Autumn approaches in the Norther Hemisphere, I thought it might be interesting to go for a theme that riffs on that concept with Fall. In the American version of the English language the season of Autumn is often called Fall. What I like about this theme is that the word fall can be taken into other directions, from trip and fall to Victoria Falls and many stops in between.

Above of below – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Overhead

This week Frank challenges us with the topic:

As I often take the time to look at things around me from a different angle, I thought that Overhead might make a good theme. Of course, you can feel free to interpret the theme in any direction that you may wish, as the word has multiple meanings in the English language!

I thought that instead of using a photo of what was ‘overhead’, I would use a photo taken from overhead.  But it also contains another overhead photo, but that resides in my wife’s camera,  perhaps I can convince her to post ‘Below of Above’ :).

Ancient Rectangles – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Rectangles

Well this week Frank challenges us with the topic:

As there is quite a bit of geometry at work, I thought that Rectangles might be an interesting theme, as they are everywhere and can be captured in many ways. You can get them straight on, or at angle that warps the perspective… Feel free to let your creativity guide your rectangular interpretation!

Well I was all set to use a photo of some scaffolding, and then I saw this photo, and given I had just published a post entitled ‘Ancient Triangle’, I thought this would be the perfect companion! Plenty of rectangles on view here.

Ephemeral – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Sculpture

Well this week Frank challenges us with the topic:

The theme of Sculpture challenges you to share photography of Sculptureboth large and small, as you enjoy it in your world. There should be plenty of opportunity to find some cool Sculpture!

Well I have lots of photos of sculpture, some are photos of works by famous artists, some are by those unknown, some appear to be sculptures but are natural, some are ancient and some are modern.  And I have shared quite a few on this blog.

Here is one taken on our recent trip to Anglesey, soon to return to nature I imagine a transient passage of artwork that enriches our lives for a limited time.

Fairy Mound – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Hill/Wall

Well this week Frank challenges us with the topic:

I’m looking forward to seeing what hills you climb and capture!

And last weeks challenge while I was away on holiday was:

Use this theme in the way that sparks your creative juices! There are plenty of Walls to be found!!

So I thought I would combine the two into a ‘hill’ I saw while I was away (all be it a small one), which also has a wall of sorts.

Solway view – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Outdoors

Well this week Frank challenges us with the topic:

So I hope that all of you go into the Outdoors and bring a little bit of it back in your cameras!

I am actually of into the great outdoors in a moment, and then again at the end of the week, so whole new batches of photos will be taken.  But first a photo from last year.
