Today GC and SueW have chosen the following as the theme for their challenge.
For January 2020, our colour challenge is White, and was chosen because Chinese New Year 2020 is the year of the White Metal Rat!
Well I went with the obvious, it snowed heavily here in 2018, enough to shut my place of work and give me 2 days off. I quite like the snow, I am one of those people! I stay warm, or venture out ‘carefully’ to have fun.
This is the road up to the ridgeway behind our house, the drifts got so deep we could not make it all the way to the top on the first day.

This weekend GC and SueW have chosen the following as the theme for their challenge.
At the start of 2019, GC and I introduced a monthly colour challenge, and for June, we have chosen the colour WHITE.
‘Mostly white’, 2014.
Ok so while not entirely sticking to the brief, the first photo was the next in my list to be edited, well its vaguely red, with some white. Both photos were taken during this years visit to Dartmoor. If you want to see other entrants to CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE: RED FLOWERS click here.
Now I have finally got the laptop back, photo editing can again begin in earnest, therefore I thought I would show you two photos from a recently finished set entitled ‘Down in the woods‘.
We are lucky enough to have a lovely wooded area behind our house, even though we have to live close to the city. This closeness to the natural world makes the 9-5 grind bearable. And so one day in April earlier this year we went for a walk down in the woods, both armed with our cameras, to see the bluebells before they all wilted.
We also hoped to see the highland cows who are residents down there, but alas they remained aloof. I took a fair few photos as is always the case, elongating a half hour walk into probably more like an hour and a half, but was pleased with most of the shots. So here are two for you ‘Black’ and ‘White’
