Zeus at the cave – Tuesday Photo Challenge – Toys

In this weeks challenge Dutch goes the Photo! asks:

For this week’s challenge, share some of your favorite toys, whether they are found in everyday objects or true expressions of a creative mind.  I’m looking forward to seeing what you may share in these images!

So here is a picture of Zeus at a cave – for those of you who want to know the Cave is St. Ninian’s cave in Dumfries and Galloway, a photo taken on our recent trip to scotland.

The toy, I have fond memories of Playmobil figures even though I had few.  One of the benefits of having a classicist as a wife is we get to buy these. One of the benefits of us both being big kids is that we may occasionally buy others!

Greek temple – Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: May 27, 2018

A slightly late entrant (given that there will be another weeks challenge along just as I post this), for Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: May 27, 2018 that asks on a weekly basis that we post a photo that fits the following theme:

Odd Ball Photos are those great photos that you take which really don’t seem to fit into a common category.  We’ve all taken them and like them, because we just can’t hit delete and get rid of them.  If you have any of those type of photos, this challenge is for you.

Oddball:nounapersonorthingthatisatypical,bizarre,eccentric,or nonconforming
                 adjective  whimsically free-spirited;eccentric;atypical

So here is a photo of the Greek shrine (even though 1 figure is a Roman) that appears to be taking shape in Karen’s room.
