Ready for yuletide – Friendly Friday Photography Challenge – Christmas Preparations

This week the Friendly Friday photography challenge  asks:

Is it beginning to look a lot like Christmas in your place?

And indeed it is, this morning we put the ‘fake’ tree up, the ‘real’ tree will go up in the living room tomorrow:

And of course we have had this years advent calendar for a few days, we do not have children so this may seem a little strange, we now have 2 Playmobil advent calendars, we have also already added in 2 extra none ‘calendar figures:

And while we are dressing the tree it has become tradition to have a mince pie, drink some ginger wine, and listen to this:

I put this on a CD as a present for my wife some years ago now, as our tape was wearing thin and had been repaired at least twice.

The Ginger wine will actually have to wait until tomorrows tree dressing as today’s effort started at just after 10 in the morning!
