Challenge: Lens-Artists Photo Challenge
Topic: #98 – Delicate Colours
Inspired by some of Laya’s recent posts, given it was her turn to host the challenge this week, and that she had posted lilac on the challenge page…
Our lilac blooms have nearly all faded now but her is one I took a couple of weeks ago. I could have given the twirl effect a bit more vibrancy, however given we were supposed to be dealing with delicate colours.

Straight shot overlaid over spiral? Inquiring minds want to know.

Indeed a masked straight shot of the lilac on top of a ‘twirled’ version of the shot of the lilac on a tabletop. With some of the masked edges further faded out. But then with a copy of the final twirl layer back on the top, with low opacity and some areas removed.
