Once a majestic skyward thrusting magenta foxglove, now a withering, drying husk.

‘Once magenta now brown’

Magenta Brown sounds like an interesting character from a detective series to me, perhaps the oft overlooked hidden beauty, perhaps now ageing, sharp witted, or with the potential to be deadly like digitalis.
