I love visiting ancient sites in the UK, and especially stone circles. I also love the magnificent landscapes of Cumbria. While for me Long Meg just about pips Castlerigg as my favourite stone circle, I have to say that Castlerigg has one of the most magnificent landscapes to go along with it.
Hopefully before too long I will be able to visit again.
