Challenge: Sunday stills
Topic: Dry
I really like teasels, they are very satisfying things to look at, like natures spiky microphones. Of course up until this year I was more likely to encounter one on a chair to prevent people from sitting down in a national trust property, than I was to find them in the wild.

I’ve seen this plant lurking around, had no idea it was called a teasel. It looks deadly sharp but beautiful in its dry state.

I think there are several different plants that get called teasel, they used to be used as brushes to smooth cloth.
